The wood/timber scales are calibrated from 14% or 15% to 30%, with a moisture content of 20% considered to be the upper safe limit for general use. The scales incorporate colour-coding, red showing above 20% and green below. Comprehensive tables of wood groups are supplied for use with wood/timber scales 1 and 2.

The ETI 7000 moisture meter is ideal for checking the moisture content levels of virtually any hygroscopic building material - construction timber, wood flooring, concrete, brickwork, walls, roofing and insulation materials.

Each moisture meter is supplied complete with a hand held probe, carrying case, battery, instructions for use and 50 spare replacement pins.

ETI 7150 Timber Moisture Meter

Scale 1 - Calibrated from 15 to 30% moisture content.       
Scale 2 - Calibrated from 6 to 16% moisture content.
Scale 3 - A reference scale calibrated 1 to 10 is used for comparison readings without reference to a particular moisture % content.

ETI 7200 Building Moisture Meter
The ETI 7200 building moisture meter indicates the moisture content of either plaster or concrete over the range of 4 to 20%. The clear analogue meter incorporates three colour-coded scales, red indicating high levels of moisture, green indicating low levels of moisture.

Scale 1 - (Plaster) Covers 8 to 20% moisture content.
Scale 2 - (Concrete) Covers 4 to 14% moisture content.
Scale 3 - A reference scale calibrated 1 to 10 is used for comparison readings without reference to moisture % content.

Both the timber and building moisture meters are supplied complete with a probe, carrying case, battery and 50 spare replacement pins.

Timber Moisture Meter
This simple to use timber moisture meter indicates the moisture content of wood over the range of +7 to +35%. The unit incorporates two easy to read scales 7 to 15% and 16 to 35% moisture. The timber moisture meter is housed in a robust ABS case, designed for one-handed operation. The unit incorporates four steel pins for determining moisture content in a wide range of timbers and woods. The meter is supplied with a protective cover and instructions for use.
